LEGAL ADVICE

Our firm provides a supportive environment and a balanced approach to negotiating legal issues.

COVID-19  RESPONSE

In these uncertain and worrying times Purdie Legal will continue to assist our clients. We have a full suite of technology that will enable us to stay connected while we restructure our day to day practices in accordance with government health recommendations.

We expect the situation will continue to evolve over the coming weeks and months and we will ensure we keep abreast of the developments so we can update our clients regarding the effects of the coronavirus on our legal system and what this means to our clients.

We will be utilising telephones and alternative platforms such as Skype and WhatsApp to conduct the majority of our meetings. However, our office is still operational with one solicitor present to take calls and facilitate individual face to face meetings should it be required. We are set up to ensure all social distancing and hygiene measures are met and we are available to provide all our services after and during normal work hours.

We encourage our current clients and individuals that find themselves in need of legal assistance to contact us should they need our support.

OUR FIRM

contact

At Purdie Legal we understand that the need for a family lawyer is usually associated with a time of stress and major change in your life. Choosing a solicitor is a significant decision and it is important to find someone you can rely on to provide you with relevant advice and assist you with the process.

Whilst litigation is a last resort, it is unfortunately a path that is sometimes unavoidable. Matters in court are usually emotionally draining and often parties do not anticipate the length of time involved both at court and in between hearings. Having an approachable solicitor who is available to answer your queries regardless of how significant they may or may not be is vital.

Whilst the practice specialises in Family Law, we are also able to assist with the preparation of Wills and attending to estate needs, conveyancing and commercial leasing. We offer new clients a non-obligatory complimentary telephone call of 15 minutes duration to advise on how we can best assist you in resolving your legal matters. Our usual hours are 8.30am to 5pm, with after hours and weekend appointments by arrangement. We appreciate that time is precious, even more so when you are navigating new life circumstances and juggling the demands after separation.
